Automating everything

This is a study we did for Apple store spiral stairs, made completely out of glass. In the study we derived a complete parametric model of the stairs. The innovation is that we generated the geometrical and statical parametric model simultaneously. Instead of weeks of FEM modelling, once the geometry is generated, by moving a couple of sliders, a complete statical model with more than 30.000 structural elements is instantly generated and ready for detailed FEM analysis.
